Ashley “Mingus Mouse” Salaz is Coharie and Nahua, born and raised in the occupied Ohlone territory of Huchiun (East Bay Area, California). Ashley is a visual storyteller and land steward who is passionate about creating art that highlights Indigenous lifeways and community work.
